Brisbane to Melbourne

Day 1
BRISBANE
Explore the sub-tropical capital of Queensland. Take a stroll along leafy South Bank and sit at one of the many cafes, ride the Giant Observation Wheel for panoramic views or dip your feet in the country’s only street beach. Visit Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and cuddle a furry friend or take the kids to the nearby Australia Zoo and keep your eye out for the famous Irwin family. Cruise down the Brisbane River on a half an hour tour of the city.

BRISBANE TO THE GOLD COAST

THE GOLD COAST TO COFFS HARBOUR

Take a lazy stroll around the picturesque harbour and visit The Forest Sky Pier at Sealy Lookout with its spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and rugged coastline. The lookout stands at 15 metres above the forest floor and is the perfect viewing point. Take a snap of the famous Big Banana. Play with dolphins at Dolphin Marine Magic or visit the Bellingen Markets and experience live music, a range of stalls and delicious fresh produce.

COFFS HARBOUR TO PORT MACQUARIE

SYDNEY TO EDEN

Discover the beauty of this historic whaling town, perfect for Whale Watching tours between May and November. Lie on the unspoilt sands of the stunning Aislings Beach or stop by the must-see informative Eden Killer Whale Museum with its display of whaling gear, boats and photographs. Experience the raw beauty of the area at Ben Boyd National Park.

EDEN TO LAKES ENTRANCE

Experience Australia’s largest inland network of waterways at idyllic Lakes Entrance in Gippsland. Absorb the town’s seaside charm and explore the beautiful Ninety Mile Beach. Sample the exquisite seafood of Australia’s Seafood Capital from one of the great local restaurants and spend the day exploring the lakes by boat, paddleboat or catamaran.

LAKES ENTRANCE TO MELBOURNE

Day 9
MELBOURNE TO SHEPPARTON

Spend a day exploring family-friendly Shepparton just outside of Melbourne. Enjoy some of the best and most challenging provincial golf courses around with their top class facilities. Learn about the local history at one of the museums located in the Greater Shepparton area. Take the kids to SPC Ardmona KidsTown, one of the largest outdoor playgrounds in Australia or go for a relaxing river-side walk and watch the pelicans dive for lunch.

SHEPPARTON TO WAGGA WAGGA

DUBBO TO TAMWORTH

Day 13
TAMWORTH TO TOOWOOMBA

Wrap up your trip in Toowoomba, colloquially referred to as The Garden City. Spend the afternoon at Cobb & Co Museum and witness ancient horse drawn vehicles or take a trip to Crows Nest Falls which plummet an astonishing 25 metres.
