Where does one start, I guess the beginning would be the right place. We picked up the 6 berth "Cruisin" van on Monday and thought, what have we gotten ourselves into?
The RV is huge! The staff reassured us it will be more than adequate for the two weeks of travel we were about to start. We left the depot and headed out to our new adventure.
The comfort-matic gearbox had me wanting a manual gearbox for the first 20ks after this I loved the silly thing. The van was top shelf. The cabin is comfortable and the two beds were just right. The bedding was perfect and no one went cold up on Mt Field the temperature dropped to -2. The van was flawless, we experienced so minor issue with the TV antenna which we called the service number and we were sent to a repair station.
That was sorted and away we went again. The in dash GPS takes a little bit of time to work out but it does work. For some construction criticism the van should have a small fan heater as the roof air-conditioning stops n starts in the really cold nights and mornings. The other perhaps essential piece of equipment is to fit a reversing camera. These RV are huge and it can be a tad scary when reversing. After 1500ks in this vehicle I will miss it.

Our van was in excellent condition upon pickup. The staff was friendly and helped us to get the Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service parks pass, even got a paper printout from the front desk. The van was equipped with all the necessities except for an egg lifter. We had to make use of road assistance for a small technicality. The roadside support number on the windscreen was different from the number on the keyholder. The car manual was also different for the model of the van. Once we got support from the technical team it was all sorted. Good job and we will be back.

Would recommend Cruisin for Tasmania since the van comes with easy to use GPS which is essential since you lose reception in pretty must most places. Really good van with all necessities. We purchased the full insurance policy and that was at least $500 cheaper than other van hire places for the week. The people were really nice and friendly. Also really warm doona cover which is good because some places cheap out.

The experience was great with cruisin! We stayed for 5 days and everything we needed was right there in the van for us. We rented the 2 berth high top for 2 people. The car drove great and comfortable. We did some longer drives in it comfortably and everywhere we wanted to see was accessible with this van. The staff are very friendly and easy to reach!

Great experience hiring a small motor home for a week around Tassie. Pickup was easy, the vehicle was in great condition and drop off was quick as well, even though there was a minor damage caused by an incident. Max cover is a great option and really helped make this a hassle free package.

Was a little disappointed with the fact our microwave didn’t work throughout the trip and the heated we got we extra kept short circuiting.

No issues or complaints.
Vehicle ran well and surprisingly the fridge lasted us the whole trip on low level without needing any powered sites. It'll drain the fuel however.
Happy with the service. Quick n easy.
