An exciting opportunity has become available to join our Fleet Assistance Officer/On-Road Care Team at our head office located in Cambridge Tasmania. We are seeking a dedicated and self-motivated person to assist our fleet team to coordinate the daily scheduling of our vehicles and assist customers over the phone with on-road care. This is a busy and diverse role that will see you interacting with a variety of people on a day-to-day basis.

About the Role

Maintain vehicle records
Maintenance scheduling
Roadside assistance- assisting customers with inquiries and breakdowns over the phone
After-hours roadside help (Over the phone)
Liaising with branches, repairers, and suppliers to organize repairs/parts
Assist the Account Department with purchase orders and invoices
Other administration duties as assigned

The Right Person

Strong background in customer service
Good negotiation skills and can quickly resolve issues
Office and Administration experience highly regarded
PC literate, including MS Office essential
Strong communication skills and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships
Problem-solving skills and ability to multitask
Written and verbal communication skills
Sound knowledge of Australian geography and road networks is essential
Mechanical knowledge
Able to work a rotating weekend roster
