An exciting opportunity has become available to join our Fleet Assistance Officer/On-Road Care Team at our head office located in Cambridge Tasmania. We are seeking a dedicated and self-motivated person to assist our fleet team to coordinate the daily scheduling of our vehicles and assist customers over the phone with on-road care. This is a busy and diverse role that will see you interacting with a variety of people on a day-to-day basis.

About the Role

  • Maintain vehicle records
  • Maintenance scheduling
  • Roadside assistance- assisting customers with inquiries and breakdowns over the phone
  • After-hours roadside help (Over the phone)
  • Liaising with branches, repairers, and suppliers to organize repairs/parts
  • Assist the Account Department with purchase orders and invoices
  • Other administration duties as assigned

The Right Person

  • Strong background in customer service
  • Good negotiation skills and can quickly resolve issues
  • Office and Administration experience highly regarded
  • PC literate, including MS Office essential
  • Strong communication skills and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to multitask
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of Australian geography and road networks is essential
  • Mechanical knowledge
  • Able to work a rotating weekend roster
