Day 1
Hobart
Begin your couples retreat in the happening capital of Hobart. Hop onboard an award-winning Pennicott Wilderness Journey to Bruny Island and marvel at magnificent rock formations, intriguing caves and sea cliffs amongst the highest in the world. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the raw Tasmanian wilderness. Later, make your way to historic Salamanca and experience a cosy candlelit dinner for two overlooking the iconic fairy lights.
Day 2
Hobart to Port Arthur

Drive up Mount Wellington and witness spectacular 360 degree views of Hobart. Head to the coveted east coast and spend the afternoon in Port Arthur exploring the ruins or enjoying one of the breathtaking coastal walks of the Tasman Peninsula.
Day 3
Port Arthur to Freycinet National Park

Drive further into the heart of the east coast to Freycinet National Park. Witness awe-inspiring views from Wineglass Bay and enjoy a picnic atop of the iconic orange lichen boulders overlooking the beach. Complete the Wineglass Bay and Hazards Beach Circuit before returning to Coles Bay and dining at nearby Edge of the Bay with a fantastic wine list and spectacular vistas of the Hazards.
Day 4
Freycinet National Park to St Helens

Time : 1 Hour 15 Minutes
Travel 15 minutes outside of St Helens to world famous Bay of Fires where you can take a romantic stroll along one of the pristine beaches. Enjoy a surf lesson for two. Return to St Helens and sample fresh oysters grown in the waters of St Helens at Lease 65 Aquaculture for an aphrodisiac effect! Enjoy live music and home-grown produce at Crossroads Winebar and Café in the evening.
Day 5
St Helens to Launceston
Distance : 166km
Time : 2 Hours
Make your way to the state’s second largest city of Launceston and drink in the charm of the tranquil Tamar Valley. Take a wine tour of the area or simply enjoy a picnic in the scenic Cataract Gorge. Dine down by the Seaport and sample fresh seafood in a romantic water-side environment.
Day 6
Launceston to Ross

Time : 1 Hour
On your way back to Hobart spend a night in the charming village of Ross and learn a thing or two about Tasmania’s rich colonial history. Enjoy lunch beside Australia’s second oldest bridge or sample delicious wood-fired delights at the Ross Village Bakery. Wander through the charismatic antique and collectable stores and sample good old-fashioned boiled lollies. Day 7
Ross to Hobart

Navigate back to Hobart via Richmond and delve into the heart of the tranquil Coal River Valley wine growing region. Experience a long lunch amongst rolling vines at Frogmore Creek and become familiar with the state’s finest cool region wine.
