Once you collect your motorhome from Catalina Drive, Tullamarine, make your way to Woolworths Gladstone Park to stock up on all the necessities. From here, head onto the highway towards your first stop – the Yarra Valley. Along the way be sure to stop at That’s Amore Cheese to view their deli and amazing cheeses. Arriving in the Yarra Valley you will be spoilt for choice with things to see and do. From boutique breweries, ice creameries to wineries, you will need to ensure you have plenty of time to visit as many as you can. After a full day of touring, pull into the Big 4 Yarra Valley Holiday park for a night of rest.

Get an early morning start and head to Hedgend Maze. With a 1.2km maze, you and the children will be sure to burn some energy before heading towards the Dandenong Ranges. For those who may not have visited as many wineries as they wished on day 1, there are plenty more along the highway to stop and visit. Arriving in the Dandenong Ranges pull off the highway towards the Silvan Dam Lookout. Stop in the carpark and cook yourself some lunch, straight from your motorhome, with a view. With many tracks to explore among the giants of the forest, lookouts to visit and activities to try, you not have a moment to spare in the Dandenong Ranges. For the evening, head into Dandenong to the Big 4 Dandenong Tourist Park.

Before heading to your camping Before departing the Dandenong Ranges, head to the Dandenong Ranges Botantical Gardens. This is the perfect way to begin a relaxing morning before heading out onto the highway. As you trek closer to the Mornington Peninsula, pull off the highway and stop at the 1000 Steps Carpark. This walk will give you a small taste of what those Australian Soldiers experienced on the Kokoda Trail. Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy on one of the many grassy areas along the way. Back out onto the highway you will come across the Slides Playcentre. This is a great place to stop for those travelling with children to burn some energy. Arriving in the coastal town of Mornington, make your first stop to one of the many beaches. As you make your way towards Big 4 Kangerong Holiday Park for the night, be sure to stop by The Pillars and Tassells Cove lookouts. estination of Bicheno, take the turn-off to Coles Bay and Freycinet National Park (Enquire about fees at the park), one of Tasmania’s most iconic coastal regions. The national park offers a number of attractions: Walk the 11 km, about 2.5 hours return, Wineglass Bay and Hazards Beach circuit starting from the Wineglass Bay Lookout Drive along the eastern side of the Peninsula to Sleepy Bay and on toward Cape Tourville Lighthouse and Friendly Beaches Treat yourself to fresh seafood and local wine at Freycinet Lodge Continue up north to experience the ever delightful penguins parading about their beach-side burrows after dark as part of the Bicheno Penguin Tours. You can expect to get up close and personal with these cute little creatures, while not disturbing their natural state. Fun fact: Penguins bite toes! So keep those feet covered and dress warmly. Spend the night at Bicheno Caravan Park.

Day 4 will see you travelling east towards Phillip Island. Not too far out of Mornington, you will come across Moonlit Sanctuary. Stop in here to have an encounter with a wide variety of birds, native wildlife and the endangered Tasmanian Devil. As you approach Phillip Island, drive over the Phillip Island Entrance Bridge to arrive at your destination. Once here, you will have plenty to see and do. Stop in at the Phillip Island Chocolate factory before heading to A Maze ‘N’ Things for an afternoon of play. Be sure to visit the many lookouts or beaches such as Nobbies Centre, Cowrie Beach and Shelley Beach. Head to Anchor Belle Holiday Park for the evening. This is a great spot to spend your evening, especially with beach access only 100metres away.

Before you head off Phillip Island, catch a morning cruise with Wildlife Coast Cruises. With so many to choose from, you be sure to see some spectacular scenery. From here, make your way to the famous Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit. Have a race on the Go Karts or for the real deal, book in for a hot lap with an experienced race car driver. After a full morning of activities, begin heading off the island towards Inverloch. As you approach Wonthaggi, turn off and head towards the State Coal Mine to experience what the coal mines were like in the 1900’s. From here continue on Cape Paterson Road to travel along the coast into Inverloch. Be sure to have your camera charged to stop by at The Oaks, Twin Reefs, Eagles Nest and The Caves lookouts. Arriving in Inverloch, head to Big 4 Inverloch Holiday Park for an evening of well deserved rest.

As you rise on day 6 of your adventure, head towards the Townsend Creek Circuit for a morning walk amongst the forest. Heading off on the highway, today will only have you driving 1.5 hours to your next destination – Traralgon. Just after you pass through Mirboo North, on your left you will come across the turn off towards Trafalgar. Take this turn off to head to the Old Gippstown Heritage Park. This is a wonderful place to stop off and learn all about the European settlement in Victoria. Take a tour to get the true old town experience. Once you arrive in Traralgon, head to Big 4 Traralgon Park Lane Holiday Park to recharge yourself and the motorhome.

As you depart Traralgon, head to Jump and Climb Traralgon for a morning of fun for young and the old. Make a stop in Sale for lunch by Lake Guthridge in the Robert Wain Reserve. For those looking to cool down on a warm day, this is a great place to stop as the Lex Glover Outdoor pool is just by the reserve. Before heading back out onto the highway, take a stroll through the beautiful Sale Botanical Gardens. Arriving in Stratford, make your way to Stratford on the River Tourist Park. With a public swimming pool and a walking trail close by, you can set yourself up for the evening and make use of the facilities on hand.

For another fun filled day of activities head to The Bairnsdale Fun park, just 2kms outside of Bairnsdale. With activities such as go karts, laser tag, jumping castle, a swimming pool, golf driving range, combat archery, bungee trampoline and combat archery, you will be sure to find an activity or two that will suit your tastes. As you arrive in Lakes Entrance, be sure to stop by the Jemmys Point Lookout for spectacular views of the coastline. Take an afternoon cruise with Lonsdale Eco Cruises that depart of an afternoon. Arrive at the Lakes Beachfront Holiday Park for the evening.

Start your day by heading down to the Main Beach Walk Bridge to find the Lakes Entrance Paddle Boats. This is a great way to spend your morning out on the water whilst getting in some light exercise. Wander further along to Lakes Entrance beach for a morning dip in the water before heading off towards Omeo. As you approach Bruthen, turn off the highway to find yourself at the Bullant Brewery. Stop here to taste the local beer and also grab a bite to eat for lunch. Arriving in Omeo, head to the Omeo Caravan Park to recharge your motorhome.

Day 10 will see you travelling towards Bright. This stunning countryside drive may take longer than 2 hours due to the many lookouts you can stop at. With spectacular views to take in, you will need to ensure your camera batteries are charged to take many photos to look back on in the future. As you arrive in Bright, head to CyclePath to hire a bike and head to one of the many tracks for an off-road experience. From here a great place to visit is the Bright Chocolate Factory to stock up on some boutique chocolates for your travels. For an afternoon of fun, make your way to the Bright Splash Park to cool down after your cycle through the countryside tracks. For the evening, book into Big 4 Bright Holiday Park and you might even be lucky enough to snag one of the powered sites nearby to the Ovens River.

As you travel along the highway towards Wodonga, you will come across the Ringer Reef Winery. This is a fantastic place to stop to sample some local wines and a tasty platter whilst taking in the stunning views of the Buckland Valley. A little further down the highway you will find the Bright Berry Farm. A stop here is a must to purchase some handmade ice cream and sorbets to eat under the trees in the sunshine. Pull off the highway towards Rosewhite to visit the Barwidgee Lavender Farm. As you arrive in Wodonga, head to Totally Fun to feed the farm animal from a train, a mini golf course for the young and old and plenty of water activities to cool down in the warm summer sun. From here, make your way to Big 4 Borderland Wodonga. With many onsite facilities, you can pull up and make yourself at home for the evening.

For those golf enthusiasts, begin your morning at the Albury Wodonga Golf Driving Range before heading out onto the highway towards Wangaratta. Take the turn off towards Beechworth to find yourself at the Woolshed Falls. For those lucky enough, to cool day on a warm summers day, you may even be able to take a dip in the falls. There may even be plenty of rock space, to take a picnic lunch down with you. Arriving in Beechworth, head to the Old Beechworth Gaol. The gaol who once housed the infamous Ned Kelly. This historical gaol is well worth the visit so book in to catch one of their tours to learn what it was like to be housed here in the 1800’s. As you depart Beechworth, keep an eye out for the wineries that are scattered along the highway. As you arrive in Wangaratta, you can spend your afternoon exploring the town before heading to Big 4 North Ceders Holiday Park.

After visiting Old Beechworth Gaol on day 13, head to the Ned Kelly Museum and Homestead to view a replica hut of how Ned Kelly and his family lived during the European settlement. Follow the interpretive display in the museum to learn even more about this infamous man and his family. Stop for lunch in Shepparton at one of the many parks or for those travelling with children, head to the SPC KidsTown – Adventure Playground. With barbeque facilities and many different playground activities to choose from, this is a great place to stop to let the children let off some steam. Arriving in Bendigo, you will be spoilt for choice on places to see. Head to the Marilyn Monroe statue for a quick photo opportunity or to The Zone Fun Park. With mini golf, laser tag, skate arena and go karting, you will need to ensure you have some extra time on your hands to try them all. Make your way to Big 4 Bendigo Holiday Park for the evening before another big day of adventure.

Start your morning at the Jumpz Trampoline Park. With a warehouse full on trampolines on the floor and up the walls, you will definitely need to ensure you have cooked yourself a big breakfast to give yourself plenty of energy. Further out of Bendigo, you will come across Big Hill Vineyard and Belvoir Park Estate. Take your pick where you stop or for those with a bit of extra time of their hands, stop by both to taste some of Victoria’s finest drops. Stop by the Castlemaine Botanic Gardens for a picnic lunch right by lake Joanna. This is a beautiful spot to relax before seeking further adventure in Castlemaine. Head to the Old Castlemaine Goal to learn about the history that spans across the 130 years that it was active. For those brave enough, book yourself in for the after dark ghost tour. After a fun filled day of activities, head to the Big 4 Castlemaine Gardens Holiday Park, adjacent to the Castlemaine Botanic Gardens.

Day 15 will see you travelling towards Ballarat. Not far out of Castlemaine, take the turn off towards Hepburn Springs. For those seeking luxury, take your pick from one of the spas in the area for a massage to rejuvenate part way through your motorhome adventure. Stop at the Daylesford Mini Golf before heading to Lake Daylesford for lunch with a view. Further down the hire way, you will come across the Maze House. This is a great place to stop for those who are up to the challenge. As you arrive in Ballarat, you will discover that you are spoilt for choice with things to see and do. Visit Red Duck Brewery for an afternoon of craft beer tasting or to the stunning Ballarat Botanical Gardens for a leisurely stroll. Spend your evening at the Ballarat Goldfields Holiday Park, nearby to the famous Sovereign Hill.

Before you begin your travels towards Port Campbell, spend your morning exploring the Sovereign Hill Museum and Gold Fields. Learn about when they first discovered Gold at this location in 1851 from the staff appropriately dressed in period costume. You may even get the chance to pan for gold at the Red Hill Gully Diggings and keep your findings. As you begin to trek closer to Port Campbell, make a stop by the Timboon Railway Shed Distillery. This is a great place to stop for a bite to eat for lunch or just to sample the local whiskey. Arriving in Port Campbell, be sure to check out The Grotto, London Bridge and The Arch lookouts. Make sure you have the camera batteries charged when viewing these breathtaking spots. For an afternoon of leisure, head along the Port Campbell Discovery Walk for and easy stroll with stunning views. Visit the Port Campbell Holiday Park for the evening before another adventure filled day.

Spend your morning at the Port Campbell Foreshore for a swim before heading on the road towards Apollo Bay. This stretch of your trip will have you stumbling across some beautiful lookouts along the cliff edge towards the Bass Strait. Be sure to stop by Sparkes Gully Lookout, The Bakers Oven, The Blowhole, The Razorback and the most famous Twelve Apostles. Visit the Gibson Steps and take a swim on this secluded beach. Half way to Apollo Bay, take the turn off towards Melba Gully, Great Otway National Park. Take a short walk through this mystical forest and discover giant ancient moss filled trees and fern gullies. If this walk doesn’t take your fancy, further down the highway you will find yourself at the Maits Rest Rainforest Walk. Finish your day by staying at the Apollo Bay Pisces Holiday Park.

Begin Day 18 by heading up to the Marriner’s Lookout. For those really keen, be sure to be up before the sun to catch a glimpse of the stunning Victorian sunrise. Take a quick dip in the water at Shells Beach before beginning your journey towards Anglesea. Another day on this coastal drive will have you stopping by many lookouts across the Bass Strait. Passing through Lorne, you will find many places to stop by the water for lunch straight from your Cruisin’ Motorhome. Stop at one of the many beaches for a quick swim before hopping back onto the highway to make your way to Anglesea. Arriving at your destination, head to Go Ride a Wave to book in for surfing lessons or even just to hire a kayak. There is so much to see and do in Anglesea. Stay at the Anglesea Family Caravan Park for the evening. This is a fantastic place to stay with beach access within walking distance from your site.

With only a short drive ahead of you today, this will allow you plenty of time to explore all that Queenscliff has to offer. Stop by the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery for a treat just as you depart Anglesea. Visit the Famous Bells Beach, the home to the Ripcurl Pro Surf. As you pass through Torquay, you will find many spots to stop for fish and chips by the beach. As you arrive into Queenscliff in the early afternoon, you will be spoilt for choice on activities. Whether you decide to visit the Marine and Freshwater Discovery Centre, the Queenscliff Museum or head out for a cruise, you will not have a moment to spare on day 19. With a number of caravan parks in the local area, check out each of their facilities that may be suited to your needs for the evening.

You will need an early start for your second last day on your motorhome adventure as you depart Queenscliff. Stop by the Bellarine Adventure golf before spending your afternoon at Adventure Park, Geelong. As Victorias biggest theme park, there is fun to be had for all ages. With not only splashzones and giant water slides, there are carousels, ferris wheels and Little buggy speedway cars. The whole family will enjoy the afternoon with so much to see and do. After your fun filled afternoon, continue through Geelong to make your way to Werribee. For the last night in your motorhome, head to the Werribee South Caravan Park. With tennis courts and direct access to the Werribee Pier, you will be set up for the night.

Before returning your motorhome to the Cruisin’ Motorhomes branch in Tullamarine, make the most of your morning by heading to the Werribee Open Range Zoo. With Cheetahs, Gorillas, Lions and Camels you are in for a wild African experience. Take a safari ride through the zoo grounds or listen to one of the many talks throughout the day. This place with take you on a magical experience, just outside of Melbourne CBD. After your morning at Werribee Zoo, head into Melbourne for a spot of shopping or even take a visit to Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium. Make your way to the Tullamarine Cruisin Motorhomes branch, to return your motorhome and swap stories and experiences with the friendly staff.
