At Cruisin’, we have campers to suit all travel needs and group sizes. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by choice, this list will help you ascertain which Cruisin’ motorhome is the best option for your requirements on your planned self-drive Australian escape.
If you’re on a budget
If you’re on a budget and looking for an affordable self-drive option, look no further than the Cruisin’ Hi Top Campervan. Though not as large as a motorhome, it has self-contained features to make sure you are equipped on the road. Inside this cosy camper, you willfind a compact kitchen with gas stove, fridge and cooking appliances, spacious dinette bed and large windows so you can wake up to spectacular views. The Hi Top caters for 2-3 adults and makes travelling around Australia a beautiful, affordable experience.
Those on a budget looking for an option with a shower and toilet shouldn't look past the Adventurer; Cruisin’s most economical motorhome. On board guests will find a shower and toilet cubicle, kitchenette, TV and lounge area. Again, this motorhome is best catered to 2 to 3 adults with a permanent double bed over the driver’s cab and a single dinette at the rear.
Lastly, if you’re travelling in a group and on a budget, the Cruisin’ Discovery is the option for you. This spacious appointment caters to 6 adults and is an economical option by the time you have divided the rental between all of you.
If you need an accessible vehicle
Those searching for an accessible vehicle easy to move around in have a number of options to choose from. If you’re travelling as a couple, the Cruisin’ Sandpiper is one of the fleet’s most accessible motorhomes and has wide walk through area between the drivers cabin and main cabin. It’s easy to work your way from the front of the motorhome to the back without any effort.
Cruisin’s larger motorhomes including the Birdsville and Discovery also have plenty of space inside and offer that convenient internal access between cabins.
If you only drive automatic transmission
Cruisin’ provides rentals in both manual and automatic transmission. If you can (or only want to) drive an automatic, choose from the Sandpiper or Discovery campervans. These motorhomes are a dream to drive thanks to their automatic transmission and great fuel consumption.
If you're travelling with children
Cruisin’ has family friendly motorhomes available to those travelling with babies or young children. These are the Seeker and Discovery which come equipped with anchor points for attaching baby and/or booster seats. Cruisin’ also hires both baby and booster seats for a set fee of $35 meaning you don’t have the hassle of packing your own.
If you want plenty of space
If you want that extra room in your rental, don’t hesitate to hire the Discovery. The 6 berth motorhome has plenty of space on board
If you’re travelling as a group
Any of the six berth motorhomes are ideal for group travel. These appointments have privacy curtains where you can segment the sleeping areas and have large kitchens and outdoor shade awnings for sitting around enjoying each other’s company.
If you want a permanent bed
Many travellers are in search of an option with a permanent bed on board. If this is you, choose from the Huntsman Motorhome, Birdsville or Discovery. Each of these has a large and permanent double bed on board making it easy for you to wake up and explore each morning.
