Australian Public Holidays 2022
As we bring 2022, it’s helpful to understand the year’s up-and-coming public holidays. You can and should make the most of your annual leave! By booking a motorhome holiday during certain periods throughout the year, you’ll have the ability to enjoy a longer holiday with minimal annual leave.
This January, there is a mid-week national public holiday on the 26th. If you work Monday-Friday, this makes for an ideal time to take some leave… Take two annual leave days and you get five total days off!
Victorian’s celebrate Labour Day with a public holiday on March 14th – giving them a nice long weekend in the beginning of Autumn.
For ACT, NSW and SA, the Labour Day long weekend falls on October 3rd.
If you’re travelling from Tasmania, why not have an Easter adventure somewhere new? There are a decent number of public holidays spanning from 15th April to 19th April.
Nationwide, April is the best time to take advantage of minimal annual leave! So pack the easter eggs and book your motorhome holiday in for April! There are a swarm of national public holidays throughout the easter period thanks to Good Friday, Easter Monday and Anzac Day the following week.
